Abracadabra

The wizard looks at his owl, nods his head and says: “it is time”. From underneath his robe he grabs his wand and puts it at his temple. Slowly, he draws his innermost thoughts as silver slivers out of his head. The thoughts stay attached to the wand, and the wizard drops them into a stone basin called a pensive. “That’s plagiarism from Harry Potter”, whispers the owl. The wizard ignores his feathered friend and murmurs incantations and spells. Slowly puzzles start forming in the water. What kind of sorcery is this? The magician grabs a parchment and scoops it through the puzzle-soup, fixing the cryptic hexes onto the paper. The gargoyle on the mantle stretches his neck to look down on the parchment and sees 20 cryptic puzzles. “It is done!”, the wizard laughs maniacally.

Welcome to this year’s easter puzzle! Grab your thinking-enhancement-elixir and wear your amulet against misleading tricks: it’s time to puzzle again! This year’s theme is magic!

Solving these cryptograms can be as easy as saying what you see out loud, but some may take more time. Here’s an example from last year. It might help to work together on the puzzle! Every cryptogram gives one letter for the solution to the puzzle.

Easter is over! You can find the solution here.

Good luck!
